HUNTERSTON CASTLE WALLACE OAK DAY - 31st MAY 2025 |

Sadly, the weather had become less clement than in the previous week, and so numbers, though consistent throughout the day, were less than we had hoped for. However, those who did attend seemed to enjoy themselves, and Clan Hunter had provided a couple of marquees to shelter in during the frequent showers. We all had a good time, chatted at length to the visitors after their tours of the Castle, whilst Cha and Neil took turns in giving the history of the oak to all who came to view it. Our thanks as always to Martin amd Madame Pauline for their hospitality. |
