DAVID R ROSS COMMEMORATION 2nd JANUARY 2022 |
Canny believe it’s been 12 years since the big warmer sadly passed away. We always hold a wee commemoration at Robroyston which was special to Davie and where the Society put a wee plaque to remember him. It's just some of his friends, and not something we advertise and especially this year due to COVID. Weather was as it always is on the 2nd January in Glasgow (LOL). A few words were said, which were basically people sharing their stories of their time with Davie. We didn't stay long because as we were just about to start, the heavens opened and Robroyston is pretty open so it's pretty windy and the rain was in your face. The weather didn't stop us thought and we finished what we started to pay our respects and we will be there again next year. Davie was not just the Convenor of the Society to us, but a very good friend and is sadly missed by all. Garaidh |
