SMITHFIELD COMMEMORATION 2011

The Tartan Army traveled down to London to watch the recent Scotland versus Brazil football match whereupon it struck Vice Convenor Gary Stewart that this would be a magnificent opportunity to visit Smithfield and pay tribute to William Wallace. Not only was it a great idea but over a hundred Tartan Army Foot Soldiers thought the same thing, speeches and songs were made before a wreath was laid on behalf of the Society. We'd like to thank Ted Christopher for his talent, Gary for his idea and the Sun newspaper for permission to use their photos of the day.
